About Unicode Fonts
These aren't actual fonts - they're special Unicode characters that look like different styles. They work in most places that support Unicode: social media, messaging apps, emails, etc.

How Unicode fonts work
These are not fonts at all. Unicode contains whole alphabets of look-alike letters โ mostly in the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block (U+1D400โU+1D7FF) that was created for equations โ plus enclosed, fullwidth and phonetic letters. Because they are ordinary characters, they survive copy and paste anywhere text is allowed, even where formatting is stripped: Instagram and TikTok bios, X/Twitter posts, Discord and WhatsApp messages, YouTube titles, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Why some characters show as boxes
The receiving device needs a font that covers the block. Modern phones and browsers cover almost everything, but older systems and some apps show โก or โฏ for the rarer styles. Bold, italic, script and circled are the safest choices; small caps and upside down are the most likely to break.
Accessibility note
Screen readers announce many of these characters by their technical names ("mathematical bold capital A") or skip them, so use styled text for decoration, not for anything people must read to understand your post. Search engines also do not treat ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ as the word "bold".
